Students of color have been navigating the dual pandemics of COVID-19 and systemic racism. Through this student-centered workshop, our BHM Keynote speaker, Marianna Sousa, will guide us through planting the seeds for re-establishing a sense of campus belonging, community building and forming peer relationships. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of relationship building and student support communities that are pivotal in fostering safe spaces and providing critical resources.
