In 2015, she completed her PhD in lmmunobiology/lmmuno- Oncology. Soon after, she received a fellowship to start a multidisciplinary project of characterizing tumor-immune infiltrates in samples of patients with breast cancer. This led to an internship at the lnstitut Curie in Paris, France. She then joined a lab at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, where she worked on T cell engineering and T cell signaling. Currently she is a postdoctoral scholar in Dr. Crystal Mackall's lab at Stanford, where she works on ways to improve engineered T cell therapies.
