Cecilia Ramello, PhD grew up in Cordoba, Argentina where she graduated from the National University of Cordoba as a clinical biochemist. In 2015, she completed her PhD in lmmunobiology/lmmuno- Oncology. Soon after, she received a fellowship to start a multidisciplinary project of characterizing tumor-immune infiltrates in samples of patients with breast cancer. This led to an internship at the lnstitut Curie in Paris, France. She then joined a lab at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, where she worked on T cell engineering and T cell signaling. Currently she is a postdoctoral scholar in Dr. Crystal Mackall's lab at Stanford, where she works on ways to improve engineered T cell therapies.

Vali Barsan, MD is an instructor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation at Stanford. He obtained his BS in Bioengineering at UC San Diego and then joined lllumina as an engineer to develop and optimize next generation sequencing tools. He earned his MD at Baylor College where he studied the biology of cancer metastasis through molecular techniques .. He completed residency in Pediatrics at UC San Diego and fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Stanford. He is focused on developing and translating genomic technologies in oncology to implement personalized therapy and study mechanisms of effective cancer immunity.
