Wed Feb 19, 2020
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Speaker:
Julio Cesar Flores Servin
Ph.D Candidate, Department of Biology, Stanford University

Julio was born in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and moved to Colorado after finishing high school.  At Colorado State University, he majored in biochemistry and became involved in research early on. He is currently a graduate student in the Biology PhD program at Stanford University where he studies how centromeres are maintained across cell cycles and ensure faithful chromosome segregation during mitosis.
