Skylar is a Senior Machine Learning engineer at LinkedIn, leading a team of engineers to match qualified candidates to their dream jobs. Additionally, he heads several initiatives across LinkedIn- such as leading multiple teams in building infrastructure/tooling for the company, machine learning, reading groups to leverage latest techniques, and the LinkedIn machine learning systems design review. Skylar began his education at Bakersfield College and later graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Computer Science from UC Irvine in 2015. Since then, he has let his curiosity and bias to action lead him to several failures, and many successes throughout his career.
